We had the most lovely time while camping here! The camphost Bob and Gerry were so helpful and attentive. The bathroom are clean and restocked often. We went into Detroit to the state park and showered daily for the small fee of 2 bucks for each person. Our whole family made friends with another family that was bicycling through Oregon from France. It was certainly the highlight of our trip. Also loved that it was just a hop skip an a jump from the Santiam river. Great fishing too..good grief I could just go on an on...lol.
Great campground, super nice hosts and the cleanest bathrooms this side of the Mississippi!
Our campsite was right on the water, we were able to launch our kayaks directly from it. The sites are big and clean. Several toilets onsite as well as water spigots. The camp host was very friendly and helpful.
Nice campgrounds. Clean vault toilets always a plus. Camp hosts very nice. Some large sites available. Only drawback is it is close to hwy so can be noisey. Good place for kids. Nice swimming area. Fishing too.
